The Precooked Cotechino is one the most typical food from Nothern Italy, and derives its name from the "cotica", the estinguished pork rind, well degreased and enriched with spices. The choice of the meat and a careful curing of the product allow Cotechino to fully acquire and express its delicate flavor, yet exquisite and good for every occasion. This product is gluten-free also in this steamed precooked version.
Put the bag into a pot full of cold water, bring it to a boiling and cook for about 30 minutes.
Cut a corner of the bag to let the broth -formed while cooking- out. Serve it hot.
Take the cotechino from its envelope and put it with its gelatine in a microwave container.
Cook it at medium intensity for 12 minutes.
Turn it halfway through its cooking time.
