Muletta Salami is a aged coarse pork salami that comes from carefully selected pork meat. Salt and pepper are added to the meat, which is then stuffed into a natural casing that gives its irregular stocky shape. It is hand-tied. The aging phase follows, which lasts about 90 days. The characteristics of this rustic cold cut are its ruby red color, distinctive aroma and an intense flavor.
