Salumi Pasini and G. and D. De Marchi Onlus Foundation together again for the Christmas Gala Dinner 2019 at Palazzo Parigi in Milan

For the fourth consecutive year Salumi Pasini, a leading Italian company in the production of cured meats, supports the G. and D. De Marchi Onlus Foundation in the fight against blood disorders and childhood cancer. The company will join the annual Christmas Gala Dinner, for one of the Foundation’s most important fundraising events of the year.

The dinner will take place in the enchanting  halls of Palazzo Parigi, where Italian hospitality can be found at its finest, located in the heart of Milan, between Brera and the fashion district. The chef for the event will be the Michelin starred Davide Oldani, creator of the pop cuisine culture at his restaurant in Cornaredo (MI). His cooking will define the rhythm of the evening with his concept food, from aperitif to the seated dinner for 370 people. After dinner the charity auction will take place and be hosted by the Italian television personalities Mara Maionchi and Rudy Zerbi, where 8 prestigious pieces from the world of fashion, food, design and art will be on offer.

The Gala dinner will also be attended by a large number of tv, sport and fashion celebrities, such as Gerry Scotti, Paolo Bonolis, Federica Panicucci, Benedetta Parodi, Mara Maionchi and Eugenio Finardi, just to name a few.

Salumi Pasini, as one of the main sponsors of the G. and D. De Marchi Onlus Foundation, besides contributing to the supply of products for the dinner, will be giving away several sumptuous prizes for the charity raffle. Salumi Pasini’s long term commitment and support for the Onlus Foundation through various means of contribution, allows the the Foundation to continue its vital work in assisting hundreds of families. Salumi Pasini strongly believes in the mission of the De Marchi Foundation. A Foundation which for forty years has been committed to providing the best possible assistance to children affected by serious illnesses.

Fondazione G. e D. De Marchi Onlus was born in the eighties from the will of a group of parents and doctors of the De Marchi Pediatric Clinic, part of Milan Policlinic. Its daily support consists of taking care of the children at the clinic, offering the best medical support and social rehabilitation possible. Sponsors and supporters of the Foundation have helped over the years with several projects, including pet therapy, art therapy and the development of a sleep disorders treatment center. On top of this, the Foundation has been able to offer economical support to the families, assisted holidays for the children, psychological support and  the ongoing training and careful coordination of its volunteers.
